The Riley School community boasts a number of performing ensembles. The following associated bands are comprised of both current and former teachers and advanced students. The Bonnies

The Bonnies are an all-female band with a focus on a Traditional Irish and American roots music. They play a mix of all instrumental tunes and harmonic songs combining rhythmic adventure and harmony, and have many music influences. Their sets include music from the Riley School of Irish Music, John Doyle, Bonnie Raitt, Liz Carroll, Murphy Beds, Joni Mitchell, James Taylor, and Over the Rhine, in addition to other wonderful tune and song performers. In addition to great harmonies, instruments they focus on include guitar, fiddle, bouzouki, Irish whistle, and various percussion instruments. The Bonnies' diverse and broad repertoire is a fit for many venues, including weddings and private parties, local wineries and breweries, and restaurants and bars in the Greater Cincinnati area. The Bonnies have been honored to play at many great venues around town over the last three years, including Harmony Hills Vineyards, The Irish Heritage Center, Molly Malone's, Ohio Paddle fest, Mio's Tavern, Mio Vino, and many private events.
