Community Band - The Half Pints
The Riley School community boasts a number of performing ensembles. The following associated bands are comprised of both current and former teachers and advanced students. They regularly perform in both public and private settings. Please contact the person listed in the band profile for further information and booking.
The Half Pints is a primarily traditional Irish band that sometimes takes excursions into some of the other Celtic cultures. Between the four musicians, instruments include fiddle, low fiddle, guitar, tin whistle, mandolin, harmonica, banjolin, bodhran and vocals. Fee will be dependent upon a number of factors including distance to travel, audio equipment required and set-up time and length of the gig. We are available for private events, holiday festivities, private clubs, pubs, coffee shops, county parks, retirement facilities, etc.
